If you were wondering why the chainsaws were out at Court Cave last week, this was much-anticipated tree surgery to improve the condition of Court Cave. Wemyss-based tree surgeon Allan Cranston and his team (allansgardening.co.uk) have done a wonderful job to remove sycamores growing from the edges of the cave mouth and to reduce the crowns of self-seeded sycamores growing from the roof of the cave.
