A lecture was given by Sue Hamstead, SWACS Education Officer, to Edinburgh University Archaeological Society.  The lecture covered some basic information about the caves for those new to the subject, then delved more deeply into the history of their archaeological exploration from the Victorian pioneers right up to the latest Visualization Project.  Members of the Archaeological Society are now keen to arrange a tour of the caves with us so that they can see all the carvings for themselves.
