Photographically illustrated walking guide to historic West Wemyss, a scenic coastal village sited below and closely associated with Wemyss Castle, a seat of the earls of Wemyss from the 15th century.

It was here that Mary Queen of Scots is said to have met Lord Darnley. A nearby cave is said to have sheltered St Adrian and is also said to be haunted by a spectral figure known locally as ‘Green Jean’.
