Castle, Caves and Coast Community Clean-Up and First Open Sunday

Our friends at CLEAR, Buckhaven, organized a big clean-up operation just ahead of the first of our regular Open Sundays of the year. Many thanks to CLEAR and the LDS people and to all who took part. It was a fun get-together and great to see everywhere looking so shipshape – a much better job than we at SWACS could have managed by ourselves. Thanks again!

First of our regular Open Days this year and a very good turnout for it with visitors coming from far and wide. In addition to a local contingent, there were people from Dunfermline, Kinghorn, Aberdeen, and even a party from Canada. There were three tours of the caves. There was a good attendance as well for the slideshow presentation on the Wemyss Parish. Even the weather was kind to us, so a good day all round.
