This booklet, published by the former  Wemyss Environmental Education Centre and long out of print,  was written in 1987 to help teachers to guide a Walkabout around the centre of Kirkcaldy.   While the Walkabout starts from Dunnikier Primary School, it can be used for any interested party starting in the Memorial Gardens.  More than 30 years after its publication, it provides an interesting commentary on Kirkcaldy landmarks past and present, with a section on the meanings of various street names.  28 pages and over 20 photographs.
