The Levenmouth area is being twinned with Bruges in France and we were delighted to play a part in entertaining the visiting French delegates.
In the afternoon we took a party of them around the caves and MacDuff Castle. We were accompanied by Dave Paterson from Fife Council and Jo Hambly from SCAPE. The weather was fine and everybody seemed to enjoy the experience. Our special thanks to Brendan McFarlane, a fluent French speaker, who was on hand to help with any translation difficulties. In the evening we gathered at the Beehive in Methilwith the many other local people and groups who had been involved with the whole programme of events that had been arranged for the visitors. We all immensely enjoyed the chance to share with our guestssome wonderful Scottish food, music and dancing.
