Due to storm damage to the site and subsequent safety risks we have had to temporarily close the gated areas of the caves to the public. We will review this as soon as conditions improve.
They can be visited as part of our Sunday guided tours, for which you can book below. If you wish to visit at other times, we will always try to make arrangements for access. Please email tours@wemysscaves.org to arrange a visit.
We are also happy to provide access to the caves and use of our visitor centre facilities by organised tour groups. Please contact us at info@wemysscaves.org for more information.
Advance booking for the tour is essential as numbers are strictly limited due to ongoing restrictions.
This is a coastal landscape with some uneven ground and includes many steps. A full tour to the caves and back is one mile long and usually lasts up to two hours. If you might find this a problem, please let us know in advance and we can arrange a shorter tour for you. Please bring suitable footwear and clothing.

On Sunday 15th September, we are paticipating in Fife Doors Open Day. There is no need to book in advance – either come to Court Cave on the Fife Coastal Path (KY1 4RT), or our Museum and Visitor Centre in The Haugh, East Wemyss KY1 4SB between 1:30 and 4:30pm.
