To celebrate our 40th anniversary this year we have organised a series of activities in addition to our usual guided tours.

May – September

A special exhibition in our museum charting what has been achieved in the last 40 years.

Friday May 1st – Tuesday May 5th

A small archaeological excavation with drop-in archaeology site tours 11am to 3pm all day Saturday, Sunday and Monday.

Saturday June 20th

A Community Festival at the caves with storytellers, re-enactors, craft workshops and children’s activities.

Saturday August 1st

A Garden Crafts day including a willow weaving workshop.

Saturday November 21st

A one-day conference on the archaeology and historical context of the Wemyss Caves.
