The remains found back in December 2023 have been radiocarbon dated to around 750–800 BCE.

SWACS have made new 3D models from casts taken at the caves over the last 100 years.

Accessible ramp installed
Our Visitor Centre is now fully accessible! Both with the lovely new ramp and toilet facilities. It’s not the only place on site that is fully accessible. Both Court Cave and Doo Cave can be accessed with work, which was done last year.
Lease signed for pop-up visitor facility
we have signed a 20-year lease on the small area in front of Court Cave.
Pictish Garden – next steps
Work is continuing on our Pictish Garden at the rear of the museum.
