Special Open Day at the Wemyss Caves
We have digital archaeologists from York Archaeological Trust at the Wemyss Caves from Monday, 9 March, to Friday, 20 March, inclusive. They’re here to complete the data collection for the Visualization Project. The pilot project was carried out in Jonathan’s Cave in November 2013 resulting in the Wemyss Caves 4D
Castle, Caves & Coast Cleanup
SWACS in conjunction with friends will be doing a cleanup of the land surrounding MacDuff Castle, the Wemyss Caves and the general coastal area. This will take place on Saturday, 11th April from 10:00 until 13:00. All Welcome!

SWACS made a start on capturing the Court Cave carvings as part of our Reflectance Transformation Imaging (RTI) project.
