SWACS’ 2016 Annual General Meeting will be held on Tuesday, 31st May at the East Wemyss Senior Citizen Centre, 9 Main Road, East Wemyss, KY1 4RQ (19:00-21:00).  All members and supporters are encouraged to attend.

The Save Wemyss Caves Society have been very active over the past year.  Here are some of our highlights: Nominated for the Scottish Heritage Angels Awards Visited by an International delegation of Archaeologists. We are looking forward to a very busy year at SWACS. 2016 is a significant year in the history of the Society as it marks our 30th anniversary and we will also see the completion of the wonderful 4d visualisation project. 

SWACS took part in the Christmas Fair at Fife Renewables Innovation Centre in Methil.

From Monday, 12 October, through to Saturday, 17 October, SWACS had a stall at the Community Space in the Mercat Centre, Kirkcaldy.  The whole exhibition area was given over for the week to various local heritage groups brought together by Fife Mining Heritage Preservation Society.  We’re very grateful to them
